In the summer of 1976, the company that would become
Country Flame was born in an old warehouse in downtown
Mt. Vernon, Missouri. It began with a handful of employees
building what we now call our "Smart Fireplace"— a
design that is still one of our best performers and top
sellers. We’re proud that our company’s success
is built on ideas and values we’ve held from the
start.
Product innovation continued as the company developed
the finest catalytic stoves on the market, and soon the
Country Flame line was being sold nationwide. By the late
1980s, the company had become one of the top three stove
manufacturers in the United States. In 2003, American Products
bought Country Flame and moved the business up the road
to a new facility in Marshfield, Missouri. Now, with plenty
of space to operate and state-of-the-art steel-working
equipment, Country Flame Technologies can continue to grow
and build on a rich history.
With the latest emphasis on renewable energy sources,
Country Flame is once again leading the way. We now offer
a full line of fireplaces, fireplace doors, catalytic stoves
and inserts, and the Ovation line of non-catalytic models.
Our Crossfire multi-fuel insert offers unprecedented versatility.
We’ve also introduced the Little Rascal Pellet Stove,
the Harvester Corn Burning Stove, and the Inglenook Fireplace
(a high-efficiency zero-clearance design).
Country Flame continues to advance the frontiers of combustion
design and technology. As evidence of our commitment to
quality and innovation, we support our products with lifetime
warranties and comprehensive service. From the heart of
America to the homes of families everywhere, we’re
proud to offer the warmth, elegance, quality, and efficiency
our customers have come to expect from Country Flame. |
