How do
I keep the glass clean on my Country Flame appliance?
Country Flame products are manufactured with an "air wash" system designed
to help keep the glass clean by providing a flow of air over the inside of the
glass. This air movement, along with high heat, help keep the glass clean. However,
the glass will have to be cleaned from time to time. The deposits that forms
on the glass is creosote and it is virtually impossible to eliminate all creosote
build up especially in cases of a lazy fire. A short hot fire (15 to 20 minutes)
will help clean off much of the normal buildup. A commercial glass cleaner designed
for stoves is recommended for cleaning. You can obtain this from a local fireplace
or stove dealer.

What product
do you recommend to clean the glass?
We recommend using a specialty fireplace cleaner on the glass, like Speedy White,
that can be purchased from your local Country Flame dealer. Be sure the glass
is cool when cleaning. Be careful not to allow any of the cleaner to spray or
drip on the gold trim; this will cause discoloration.
