There are many different manufacturers of wood pellets in the United States and they all have different combinations and types of woods used in their manufacturing process. In regulating the wood pellets, the most important aspect is the ash content produced by the pellet. Premium grade pellets will produce only 1% ash, while standard grade pellets will produce 3% ash. Country Flame Pellet Stoves will burn a wide range of pellets, however, you will have to keep in mind that with any pellet stove, the more ash produced by the wood pellet, the more often the stove will need to be cleaned or maintained.
